It’s always a great stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. This is our personal go to when staying in Gatlinburg, close to attraction, especially the aquarium. Great parking and everything is easily accessible.

This Was our 3rd stay at this hotel,it is in a perfect location downtown. Close to all the attractions & dining that you can walk to ,yet it sits just off of the main rd to keep the traffic noise down.

My wife loves the soaking tub rooms complete with a large walk in shower for me, and a Tub for her, also there is a enclosed parking garage in one of the buildings.

The rooms have always been super clean and the beds very Comfortable and the staff is Friendly !!

We will go back.

“When i booked my stay they didn’t have any rooms that could accommodate 6 people, they booked me into a 2 bedroom cottage which was okay with me, (more room to move around in). when we arrived at the greystome for check in, (which was a breeze). i was given a room to a cottage and a map, and verbal directions to get to our cottage. oh my, we were just close enough to town to hear traffic on the road but far enough out (by traffic light 1) to be surrounded by woods. when we pulled up to our cottage to our surprise it was basically a 2 bedroom, 2 floor house. down stairs was a open floor plan with a living room with a chair, couch (which opened into a bed) and a love seat. the living room had a tv, and a gas fireplace (which was on a timer). behind that was the kitchen with everything you needed for a extended stay. there also was a half bath downstairs. upstairs was the 2 bedrooms, one had a queen size bed, dresser, a huge walk in closet with a ironing board and iron and a full bathroom and had a tv. the second bedroom had a full bed, closet and a full bath with a shower and a jacuzzi. and a tv. each floor of the cottage had a full length deck which was accessed from the bedrooms. it was very clean and even the decks for being so close to the woods was clean. the desk clerk told us we still could use the hotel pool and enjoy the daily breakfasts that was offered at the main hotel, (we was to busy enjoying gatlinburg and pigion forge to do either. we are already planning our next trip and plan on staying in one of the cottages again.”

“The Greystone is among the more convenient lodging options in Gatlinburg. It’s basically on the Parkway, right next to Ripley’s Aquarium. The free covered parking alone would make the hotel worth it, but there is so much more.

The parking is really a great setup. The hotel is four stories and the parking is such that each floor of rooms has a parking garage with it. Tough to explain, but great to have your car close with lugging bags up an elevator.

The rooms have a balcony overlooking a great little river. Nice to fall asleep to the sound of the river. The rooms are very modern and clean.

Breakfast is included and very nice.

Our family walked to everything in Gatlinburg without any issues. Great stay.”

“This was my first time staying at The Greystone and I was highly impressed. I took advantage of their special 57th anniversary special! 57 rooms for .57 cents for a grand total of .65 cents! Mom and I had a double queen facing the river, loved sitting on the balcony and watching the traffic and the people riding the mountain coaster. Very quiet and clean,we had room 556 and we were able to drive right up in front of our room and just walk in.

We actually arrived early and were told that we could park any where on the property and was given a temporary pass . We parked and walked to light #6(about a block) and received a text that our room was ready but didn’t go back to check in until about 3-4 hours later.

Got to our room and the decor was wonderful, teals, blues and Browns. They had left 2 souvenir cups with a sweet note in the room. The towels were nice and thick, the bed was high and comfy. 2 chairs and a small table on the balcony with banister that I could actually sit and watch everything going on down on the road…I’m a people watcher ..lol…

Loved that when it was time for bed it was quiet and I never heard anyone running or talking loud outside like other places I’ve stayed in the past. We had a exterior room but just down the walk was interior rooms and that’s where I had to go to the ice machine and that too was nice and clean. The elevator was out of order the next morning so we just drove down the hill for breakfast.

Breakfast was just enough to hold you over until lunch… Cereal, toast, bagels, doughnut holes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal with different toppings, cottage cheese and peaches, coffee and juices.

Lastly, the location of the hotel is close to everything that Gatlinburg has to offer. Across the street from the Aquarium and the trolley system.

Loved this place and the staff super friendly”

“We have stayed at Greystone several times. We love it. Everybody is friendly. Rooms are clean. And you can not beat the location, everything is within walking distance. They do also value their repeat customers. We will choose Greystone everytime!”

“This was our first stay at this hotel. We booked because of the great deal for their 57th Anniversary celebration. Who else would sell 57 rooms for 57 cents each????? That is just ridiculous and it made me so happy!!!

Check in was a breeze. Parking was easy to find right outside our door. We had a room with the river view that I requested – they actually listened!! (There’s that customer service).

On top of getting a room basically free there were 2 souvenir mugs and a nice card with my name on it when we checked in. We were blown away!

The room was clean, no complaints there. There were plenty of pillows (5 per bed) and plenty of towels. Not only do they leave the usual shampoo, conditioner, and lotion but also body wash as well.

The pool is outside and it is heated and clean. We spent over 2 hours there.
They also have plenty of towels at the pool.

The elevators did go down while we were there and they were down all night but there is a very convenient ramp to walk if the stairs are hard for you so that was a very minor inconvenience.

All common areas (parking lot, lobby, hallways , stairways) were clean too.

The location of the hotel is just PERFECT and convenient to everything. Our car never moved from check in until check out.

This hotel really impressed me and that isn’t easy to do since I work at a 4 star hotel that takes cleanliness and customer service very seriously.

We will be sure to stay here again in the future.”

“Fantastic hotel! Staff was extremely friendly and very welcoming. We took advantage of a promotion for their 57 years of being in business and were able to stay there for a total of .65! My husband and I have stayed at lots of hotels in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area and this is one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. The location was great and the view with the river from the balcony was so peaceful. Very quiet, great parking and I cannot stress enough how important it is to be a clean room. We will definitely be coming back to stay!”

“This was probably one of the best family resorts I’ve ever been to. From the initial welcome which was very receptive to the grounds to the rooms themselves they were impeccably clean spotless and beautiful. my room overlooked the stream and it was great to just sit on the balcony and relax and listen to the water. every morning they have a great breakfast which included hot and cold items from eggs to sausage gravy to biscuits. The pool was well maintained clean and heated and had a fun slide for the kids. The location of the lodge was great. It was at the base of one of the main attractions in Gatlinburg, and in walking distance to numerous other ones. Their renovations or well worth the money they spend. my only complaint would be the location of the air conditioning unit to one of the beds, it blew right on the person closest to it so we had to set up a deflector so they didn’t get Frozen during the night with the cold air blowing on them. But not a big deal compared to everything else we got from the greystone.”

“My husband and I were in Cherokee and decided to drive in to Gatlinburg for a one night visit. Saw Greystone online and decided to give it a whirl. Wonderful place! Very friendly front desk service. Location is super….close to restaurants and river. Clean, updated feel. We stayed in a king room with a balcony on the river…..room 162. There was a parking garage with doors just outside the room. Very convenient. We sat on balcony some during our short stay and it was so peaceful. Free breakfast was great. My husband and I decided this would be our go to hotel for all our Gatlinburg stays!!”

“It has been years since we have stayed in Gatlinburg our family likes to stay in Pigeon Forge but we will definitely stay at The Greystone Lodge again. The room was clean. The whole place looked clean. The room was big. It was well stocked the bed was very comfortable even the bathroom was big. It was nice and quiet with a balcony over the creek. The breakfast was okay. It could be improved. Other then that it was a very nice place.”

“We took advantage of the 57 year anniversary special that was posted on Facebook. 2queen executive for .57. Yes, our room for 1 night was a total of $0.65! From the 1st phone call until our checkout, the staff was extremely helpful and very nice. We ended up arriving later than planned, but that wasn’t a problem. Checked in, got to the room and had not 1 but 2 travel mugs and a nice thank you card waiting for us. The room was very clean and the view was perfect. The beds were so comfortable, There was no waiting for the hot water to get hot in the shower either. The free breakfast was very good, lots to choose from for the picky eaters like me. The Greystone Lodge will definitely be a return to place no matter the price!”

“We loved our stay! The River is amazing! Gatlinburg is a great place for couples and families.we enjoyed walking to eat and Togers live music at Ole Reds!we will definitely be back!Next time we want to bring our daughter. Lots to see and do in Gatlinburg!”

Amy T

“We have been staying at The Greystone Lodge for the past 10 years. We always request a room overlooking the river. We enjoy sitting out on the balcony and hearing the river after a day in the mountains. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. We have never had any problems. Highly recommend The Greystone Lodge!!”

“The Greystone Lodge at the Aquarium is a great hotel for couples or families. It is very clean, great friendly staff and reasonable in price. They offer a wonderful continental breakfast and a nice clean swimming pool. It is a great location, with it being off the beaten path for privacy but yet in the middle of everything with easy access. We have been staying here for years! Love it!!”

Traci L

“Our room had two queen size beds, TV, coffee maker, refrigerator and leaflets that let us see just what sights are offered in Gatlinburg, TN. All the staff was friendly and when we asked for an extra coffee packet the lady was so happy to help us out. Our room was clean and we enjoyed the breakfast. I enjoyed the offerings. especially the gravy biscuits. Oh, our room also had the view of the river which both my wife and I enjoyed watching the ducks swim by. This was our second time staying there and we certainly be coming back again to stay at The Greystone Lodge on the River.”

Frank R

“We love staying here for the views and the cost. Rooms are very nice and the hotel is walking distance to everything. We use this as our main place to stay. Rooms are clean and updated. Staff are very helpful and courteous.”

“We have stayed here many times. The newly updated room was all we expected it to be. Great location and close to new attractions. The trolley was easy to use to get around Gatlinburg. As always the staff was friendly and offered really good advice and information. Would definitely stay again.”

Sherry W

“Our family loves the Greystone. From the time I call to make reservations, our arrival and check in, and when we check out, we are treated with respect and professionalism. Clean rooms, large assortment for breakfast, right beside the aquarium. For my family there’s no other choice.”

“This is our second time staying here and we plan to come back next year. Staff is nice, breakfast is good, and rooms are clean! The lodge is close to all of the shops and restaurants in downtown Gatlinburg.”

Amber M

“Clean room; we had a nice king-size bed, refrigerator, coffee maker. Their continental breakfast was very good; eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, hot and cold cereals, toast and bagels, juices, and coffee/tea. They kept the serving dishes filled, and the eating area was large and clean. We liked that after the breakfast buffet was closed, they fed their staff. We loved the front desk staff, they were very friendly and helpful. We were there for a small conference, and our meeting space and banquet room were very nicely done.”

Jeannie F

“We had a Family Reunion at this hotel. All the staff was amazing! I want to give extra kudos to Shirley, Libby Carlos, Chef Steve and there was another gentleman that also helped with our Pizza party, Friday night Buffet and Saturday evening picnic but I have forgotten his name. They were all so helpful and accommodating to us. Shirley even took group photos for us.The rooms were wonderful. The kids had so much fun in the pools!! Thank you to Lori for all the help with meal planning. The sales department was wonderful with helping get everything planned. Great place to stay!!!”

“This was our 2nd stay. Clean, safe and charming. You can’t beat the location right next to the trolley stop. We park our car when we arrive and don’t move it til check out. Beautiful flowers and well kept pool area. Breakfast is very nice. Our kids love the oatmeal with toppings! Our first stay was the standard room which was pretty basic but clean and darling balcony over the river. Upgraded this time to a family suite and unfortunately, no balcony or patio. But the room was very spacious with a separate bedroom and nice kitchen area. Covered parking in the parking garage (no charge) right outside our room. This will always be our go-to when we are lucky enough to go to Gatlinburg!”

“We stayed 4 nights in the King Two-Room Family Suite (again) and it was great. The room was very comfortable and extremely clean; 3 tv’s were a plus and the beds and extra pillows were great. The extra half bath was wonderful. This is our second stay here and it was just as good as our first stay in 2013. Breakfast selection was very good. Pool area was clean and enjoyable. So very convenient to downtown and the Trolley route. Front desk and maintenance were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended and we will stay here again for our next visit. Won’t stay anywhere else!!!”

Mary K

“The Greystone Lodge is a great place to stay!! They have a variety of very nice rooms. Everything is neat, clean and comfortable. The pool is awesome! The breakfast is great! They had a great Conference Room for our family to gather. Many who attended our family reunion (this past weekend) stayed at the Greystone Lodge and were so pleased with the accommodations. Many more family members who stayed elsewhere this year will instead be making reservations at the Greystone for our next reunion two years from now. We can’t wait to return in two years and stay at Greystone Lodge On the River!!!”

“We’ve been staying at the Greystone when we visit the Smokies for well over 20 years. We’ve never had a bad stay. Beautiful surroundings, close to the action on the parkway, clean well appointed rooms and very friendly staff. It’s our little home away from home. Love the family suites with the water views. If you need a place to stay, The Greystone is it.”

Brian H

“Our family loves the Greystone. From the time I call to make reservations, our arrival and check in, and when we check out, we are treated with respect and professionalism. Clean rooms, large assortment for breakfast, right beside the aquarium. For my family there’s no other choice.”

“My husband and I stayed the weekend we got married. We were in one of the suites with a soaking tub and king sized bed. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable and made for a great night’s rest after a day of walking the strip. The tub and mounted tv make it hard to even want to leave your bathroom! The walk in shower was nice and roomy and the water pressure/temp was perfect. It is in short walking distance to just about anything you’d like to visit on the strip and right next door to the aquarium which was a major plus for us. There’s also a nice little Mexican restaurant practically in the same parking lot. The complimentary breakfast the hotel provides every morning was way better than I expected! The staff is very polite and accommodating. There are so many great things I could say about this place, but I would advise you to just go check it out for yourself! So, so worth it!”

Sutton D

“We loved our experience at Greystone Lodge! Room was nice, spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were all very polite and helpful. We will definitely be staying here anytime we return to Gatlinburg!”

Mary Beth R

“On a scale from 1-10, I’d give Greystone a 15! All of the staff members were friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was clean, spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the view of the river from the balcony was beautiful! I love the garage parking, especially with inclement weather, it was nice not having to clean off our vehicle before heading out. And the location was perfect as well. The hotel was within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and attractions. Thank you for adding to our great vacation experience and I can’t wait to visit again!”

“We loved out stay at Greystone. The rooms were clean, we looked out over the creek and watched ducks. It was very close to everything in Gatlinburg and right next to the trolley if you wanted to go to the other end of Gatlinburg. They have a very nice pool and the office staff is very friendly and helpful. The ONLY thing I would have changed is the shower head. A little to spread out and hard. Other than that, the bathroom was clean, plenty of towels, and storage. I will go back and would recommend it to anyone.”

“We stayed on the 3rd floor overlooking the river. The room was quiet with no noise from next door or above. It was nice to open the balcony door and hear the water. Breakfast was basic but good. We liked the covered parking (for the rooms on the hill)and the keyed entry to the hallways from the garage. The staff was helpful and housekeeping was attentive. The hotel is located beside the aquarium which is the trolley hub but also convenient if you wanted to tour the strip by foot, which we did most of the time. Free wifi was a bonus”

Andrea S

“We love visiting Gatlinburg and this was our first stay at Greystone Lodge On the River. We were beyond pleased. Very clean, updated room with beautiful view of the river featuring a private balcony. Indoor parking was an added bonus. Staff was very proffesional and courteous. The grounds are neat and well groomed. We used to always stay at the hotel beside Greystone and were heartbroken when we heard that it had been torn down and another hotel being built in it’s place. So we did some searching and liked the reviews and what we saw so decided to give Greystone a try. So glad that we did! We will definately return in the near future.”

Rachel S

“We were there for just an overnight stay but were very pleased! Clean rooms, nice breakfast buffet, nice pool and close to everything. Super friendly staff, Loved the option of covered parking in the garage also. Will stay here again.”

Lori W

“Great location in Gatlinburg. Across the street from Ripley’s Aquarium and trolley stop, 2 miles from the Smokey Mtn National Park overall great location. Didn’t use the pool or balcony due to the temp but nice amenity to have during warmer weather. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We stayed here January 7-10,2016. We had the king room 117. First time we stayed here since there remodel. We have stayed here before. The room and bathroom was spotless. NO and I repeat NO Bugs of any sort. The mattress and pillows were great. Bed little firm but not too firm. You can set the temperature in the room very easy. One setting it can blow constant or you can set it to just blow when it kicks on. We would stay here again for sure. It’s a short walk to the Pancake Pantry also which we love to go. Try the strawberry delight pancakes if you go. Wonderful. Greystone thanks for a wonderful stay.”

“Lovely hotel, just stumbled on to it. We paid 80. Plus tax. Room very spacious and had balcony overlooking small river filled with ducks. Ask for your military discount. Room very clean, beds comfortable. Guest coin laundry near ice machine. Management helped us with our uhaul truck parking on site no extra charge. Room nicely decorated. Enjoyed the historical pictures in the room. I will be back soon.”

“Our little family really enjoyed our stay. The renovations are very nice. Breakfast is great. Location is great. Room is clean. Beautiful scenery overlooking the river. Well worth the money. The only thing that could use a change is the air blowing on the bed closest to it. Lovely just lovely. We’ll be back.”

Cindy G

“My husband and I just took a weekend vacation to Gatlinburg, which we do often. This was our first time trying Greystone Lodge and we loved it. Although it was grey and cloudy and drizzly and rainy, we totally enjoyed our trip. The river’s calming sounds was so relaxing that we slept with our patio door open all night. The remodeling looks great as well………We loved it and we will be back”

“We waited to arrive in Gatlinburg before making reservations anywhere because the reviews for all of the Gatlinburg hotels were so inconsistent. We finally decided to stay at Greystone after driving around and checking out the town. We were not disappointed. The rooms have been recently renovated and are beautiful. I loved that we had 1 1/2 bathrooms in our family suite. They were both large and very nice. The family suite had plenty of space and was comfortable. I loved that there was a balcony off of my bedroom and off the living room. Both were large and over the river. The staff members were very nice and happy to answer any questions that I had about the town. The location was great.”

“We initially booked another hotel in the Gatlinburg area but a few weeks before our trip, we heard that Greystone had just completed a huge renovation to their property so we thought we would check it out. I called and booked a room and got a great rate. We arrived a few hours before check in time and was still able to check in, big plus!! We were on the 4th floor and had a great covered parking area that was very close to our room. The room itself was very clean and updated. The beds were very comfy. We loved the balcony that overlooked the river. The location of Greystone is perfect, within walking distance of area attractions and the trolley stop. The pool was a little small but my daughter loved it just the same. The free breakfast was good but could have had a better meat selection like bacon or sausage (they did have gravy with sausage in it). Overall this was a very nice hotel and we will definitely be staying her in the future!! Highly recommend!!”

Talia S

“Out of the 167,000 times that I have been to Gatlinburg this was a first for the Greystone Lodge. This hotel is great. Hands down. You can tell that the building has been there for quite a while but the newly renovated interior and amenities quickly make one forget about the older exterior. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the bathrooms were big as well. Our room had a balcony over the river which was nice and relaxing. I am pretty sure I had the best two nights of sleep I have ever had on their beds as well. Felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast was continental but was not cold and nasty like most. The biscuits and gravy were delicious! Will be returning to this property for future stays.”

Colby B

“Loved the place fresh new look, free breakfast buffet. Short walking distance from downtown. Would highly recommend. Pool area was nice, right across the street from the aquarium and trolley stop. River was a bit low when we were there, but looks to be a nice view when its up. Winter would be beautiful here.”

“I cannot say enough about the Greystone. Great location to everything in Gatlinburg. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Great balconies. Great pool. Staff friendly and helpful. Delicious free hot breakfast every morning. Beds were great (slept better than at home!). We had a great experience and are already planning next years vacation.”

“This room was a little more money than I would normally spend, but it was totally worth it. The room was huge, new, and clean. Convenient location.”

Rachel T

“We had a horrible cabin and hotel experience for the start of our vacation until we found the GREYSTONE. This place made up for the bad start at another near by hotel and cabin. We will be sure to come back to this place when we visit again! Don’t look anywhere else. Book this place! Shout out to Connie and Brandi for their wonderful front desk hospitality!”

Robbie E

“Freshly remodeled, all new furniture and new beds. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. A short walk to Main Street and all the shops. Free breakfast, nice outdoor pool, new exercise room. Parking garage to keep you dry if it rains. Love it, will be back many more times!!!”

“The room, King Excutive Deluxe. We parked in the parking garage, walked to the door in the garage, scanned our key and we were in the hallway to our room. The room was large with a seating area and a balcony overlooking the creek with small visting ducks. Clean and fresh with a huge bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. We were a walk away from No Way Jose which has the best food and a walk away from the aquarium. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a great time running away.”

“This was my third time staying there and highly recommend! The staff has always been great! This last time I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was very nice! My wife and I are going back the first of August.”

“We live within an easy 2 hour drive of Gatlinburg, so I’ve been there often over the last 40 years. I had never stayed at Greystone Lodge before because when I was young, we couldn’t afford it, and as I started making my own money we gravitated more to Pigeon Forge hotels. When I had the opportunity to stay here, I took it but I honestly expected it to be dated, even run down. It was NOT. It was BEAUTIFUL. We stayed on the 5th floor and it was very quiet and out of the way. We were near our favorite shops and restaurants but looking out the back, we were over the creek and saw only trees and mountains. I have never parked so close to my hotel room in Sevierville before. I have also never had such a good internet connection at ANY hotel I’ve stayed at. The beds were very tall (I’m short any way), but they were so so comfortable and there were a lot of pillows and I just dearly loved my bed. I could actually sleep every night I was there, and comfortably. The layout of the bathroom was perfect. There were places to put all my stuff, including my PJ’s and my jeans so they were right there when I got out of the shower and I didn’t have to go out of the bathroom to dress or apply my make-up or fix my hair. The shower head was one of those rain-like shower heads. Loved it! The deck was nicely placed over the water and we watched baby ducks in the evening and watched the full moon rise over the ridge-line. The whole stay was an enjoyable experience. I just can’t say enough good things about Greystone Lodge, however. I looked forward to returning to the hotel everytime we went out again!”

Mary Jo J

“LOVE your Lodge & your cottages! In Feb., my husband & I had reservations to stay in a cabin, but could NOT get up it’s driveway due to ice. It was fairly late at night, & we were pretty desperate to find a place to crash. We pulled into Greystone, after seeing on your sign that you had cottages. Although you didn’t have a cottage available that night, you did have a vacancy in the Lodge. We stayed there our first night, then moved to the most charming cottage for the next 2 nights. We were TICKLED to death with BOTH places. They were both beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, AND even costs us less than the 3 nights for the cabin! At the lodge, the staff was so friendly & hospitable & the breakfast was delicious!! We will definitely recommend your properties to everyone!”
